Before making his name as a major New Orleans pianist, Dr. John was known as Mac Rebennack, a successful session guitarist who was forced to find a new instrument after being accidentally shot in the hand. As Dr. John, he garnered a reputation for performing in all-out Mardi Gras regalia, bringing a theatrical aspect to his shows that surprisingly never detracted from his soulful music. |

Earl Thomas is one of our artists on tour this coming summer! In fact the Californian singer is coming with an excellent band, "The Kings of Rhythm", known to have worked for many years alongside Ike Turner who recently passed away. Earl Thomas and his new band will be available from 15 July to 1 August. A Blues/Soul/Funk concert which will surely make his numerous fans exhilirated. |

Our previous Blues Guitar Power has been such a success that we are proudly announcing the next Exclusive Winter Tours 2010 which cast includes some of the greatest guitarists in the worldwide blues scene. Opening the event will be the 5-time Grammy Award winner JOE LOUIS WALKER. Following him is the rising star MATT SCHOFIELD and then the extraordinary MICHAEL BURKS followed by the sublime RONNIE BAKER BROOKS. Announcing: DELTA MOON's entry in our exclusive roster! An extra-ordinary band of "southern swamp blues-rock" formed by Tom Gray e Mark Johnson.
These two guitarists from Atlanta met casually in a music shop and since they were both thinking of starting a band based on a double slide guitar, Delta Moon was born. In 2003 they won the prestigious "International Blues Challenge" award of Memphis. Break Live Music represents them exclusively for Italy, Spain, France and Switzerland (Ticino). |
